Themed "Sanctuary of the Divine, Harbor for the Wandering," this project reimagines the underutilized public space in front of the temple through the spatial translation of the Andiyou Shen (Andiyou Spirit Parade) culture.

Drawing inspiration from the parade rituals, stage memories, and the daily needs of the community, the design translates traditional architectural elements—such as sweeping rooflines, timber frameworks, lanterns, colorful banners, and theatrical motifs—into public installations that invite people to linger, move through, and interact with.

In daily life, the space serves as a shared hub for the elderly to rest, children to play, and residents to connect. During festivals, it seamlessly transforms into a vantage point for observing rituals, showcasing culture, and hosting community events. Through this light-touch intervention, the spirit of the parade is extended beyond fleeting festival moments, weaving it into the enduring public memory of everyday life.
