Developed in 2020, Future of Skincare is a speculative project exploring how the beauty industry might meet the growing demand for at-home self-care. Three concepts were created: Patch, a series of face patches that heat or cool the skin to tackle breakouts and aid serum absorption; Masque, a hands-free LED mask applying heat and blue light to combat blemishes; and Masseur, a vibrating dome designed for facial massage, muscle tension relief and lymphatic drainage. The project accurately predicted the rapid rise of tools such as LED masks and smar t cleansers over the following five years.
