This project is a virtual exhibition themed around "The Peddler's Cart". The peddler, carrying a house-shaped cart on his shoulders, not only sold daily necessities and toys but also had functions such as diagnosing illnesses, handling documents, divination, and entertainment. He was a mobile carrier of commerce, services, and cultural dissemination in the Song Dynasty. As times changed, the peddlers who wandered through the streets gradually faded from daily life, but their mobile commercial functions continued in new forms such as cultural markets, online shopping, food delivery, and express delivery. Based on this functional inheritance between the past and the present and the differences in experience, this exhibition selects "The Peddler" as the theme, uses the narrative perspective of "the audience as the peddler", and links three scenarios: urban procurement, rural services, and court entertainment. It guides the audience to understand the peddler's livelihood, identity, and the cultural and spiritual landscape of the Song Dynasty's urban life through an immersive journey.
