| In the digital age, every selfie and post is both self-expression and self consumption. The work uses the metaphor of "self consumption" to transform identity display on social platforms into a digital eating ritual. The selfies uploaded by the audience become "offerings", Through TouchDesigner's real-time processing, the facial image is decomposed, corrupted, and ultimately projected in the form of "food". This process simulates the gradual disintegration and consumption of images during viewing and sharing, suggesting how we can continuously feed ourselves to others in digital social media. The work combines facial tracking, image decomposition, corruption animation, and interactive control to make. The audience not only witnesses the corruption of images, but also becomes' devourers' in their participation. This is a fable about identity, consumption, and digital existence. |
