| FACTURE constructs a hyper-controlled, minimalist “white order world,” using a futuristic fashion film language to explore the tension between social norms, aesthetic ideals, and individual desire. The term facture refers to structure and surface, here extended as a metaphor for a carefully constructed reality—seemingly pure and perfect, yet inherently fragile. A boy encounters a crystal sphere that symbolizes rationality and control; upon contact, suppressed emotions and the authentic self emerge as a red force, seeping outward and infiltrating both body and space. The once symmetrical, sterile system begins to collapse—structures fracture, space distorts, and the body transforms—creating a visual tension between fashion imagery and experimental narrative. As the only “foreign element,” red expands continuously, representing both the awakening of individual consciousness and resistance against regulated identity in contemporary society. After reaching a state of total chaos, the world does not return to its original “perfect white,” but is reconstructed into a more complex and elevated form: white remains dominant, yet is now layered with intricate, elaborate, and futuristic ornamentation—flowing structures and crystalline textures forming an almost ritualistic visual system. The red force is no longer destructive, but absorbed and translated into a subtle, persistent pulse at the core. In this final state, white no longer signifies suppression or emptiness, but a sanctified condition capable of containing desire and fracture. FACTURE ultimately proposes that true purity is not the elimination of complexity, but its acknowledgment and coexistence within order. In terms of methodology, the project is created using the AIGC platform Lovart. The choice of Lovart lies in its ability to orchestrate and integrate mainstream AI image and video generation tools within a single canvas, enabling a continuous workflow from visual exploration to narrative construction. This unified environment enhances both efficiency and stylistic coherence, allowing the project to maintain a consistent visual language while navigating between complex fashion storytelling and experimental expression. |
