This film is centered around the Eastern spirit of "knowing it's impossible but still doing it", selecting five traditional stories - Kuafu Chasing the Sun, Shennong Tasting Herbs, Yu Gong Moving the Mountains, Jingwei Filling the Sea, and Zhang Qian's Space Journey - and reinterprets the ancient imagery through sci-fi wonders. From Kuafu's mechanical Titan to Shennong's data forest, from Yu Gong's nano polymer to Jingwei's quantum mechanical bird, and to Zhang Qian's cyber cane - each story is endowed with a futuristic touch, depicting humanity's eternal pursuit of light. The film brings together traditional spirit and future imagination, illuminating the path of civilization's advancement: allowing light to reach every place that was previously impossible to reach.
