On September 18, Zhang Guohua, member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Xiong'an New Area, visited the Xiong'an Green Building Exhibition Center to inspect the preparations for the 2024 Hebei International Industrial Design Week. On September 20, the launching ceremony of the 2024 Hebei International Industrial Design Week was grandly held at the Xiong'an Green Building Exhibition Center.
Parina Vias, President-elect of the World Design Organization; Lee Young-cheol, UN Messenger of Peace and Executive Chairman of the Korea Chapter of the World Green Design Organization; Shan Zhongde, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; and Zhao Dachun, Vice Governor of Hebei Province, delivered speeches respectively. Wu Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Hebei Xiong'an New Area, and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Xiong'an Group Co., Ltd., presided over the launching ceremony.

Hosted by the Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center and co-organized by the Korea Design Promotion Institute (KDI) China Office and Asia Design Week, the event, themed "Cross-border Integration: A New Vision for Sino-Korean Design," featured keynote speeches and roundtable discussions on cutting-edge Korean design concepts and the experience of design in driving enterprise transformation and development. Choi Ki-yeol, Director of the KDI China Office, and Ding Xiaolong, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Xiong'an New Area, attended the event and delivered speeches.
Hong Dong-sik, professor of visual communication design at Pukyong National University in South Korea; Kim Ji-ho, founder of TEMP Architecture Design Studio in South Korea; Xiao Qinghui, design director of MOTO Design Group in China; and Lee Geun-hoo, director of GI Works Co., Ltd. in South Korea, delivered keynote speeches on topics such as cultural communication and creative design, industrial design, and spatial design. They shared South Korea's experience in using design to drive corporate transformation and development, and strengthened exchanges and cooperation between China and South Korea in the design field.
