Amid great anticipation, the results of the 2024 Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award (AVADA) have been officially announced. After multiple rounds of evaluation, 128 outstanding works stood out and received First, Second, and Third Prize honors. This is not only a recognition of participants’ creativity and talent, but also a grand celebration for the design community across Asia and worldwide.

International Jury Lineup Builds an Impartial and Authoritative Judging Panel

This competition brings together top designers, senior experts, professors and outstanding scholars from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Egypt and other countries and regions (has been announced) to jointly build a judging hall that pays equal attention to authority and fairness. The judges not only enjoy a high reputation in their respective fields, but also provide all-round and multi-angle professional judging for the entries with their international vision and forward-looking insights.

The scale of the competition reached a new high and demonstrated its international influence

The competition received a total of 8,855 submissions from 43 countries and regions, with 8,055 valid works, of which the professional group accounted for 30%. The entries not only came from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and other regions, but also included Asian countries such as South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, as well as European, American and African countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Australia, and Egypt, fully demonstrating the international influence and attractiveness of the competition.

Layer by layer screening to select high-quality products

In the preliminary review stage, the jury composed of senior corporate designers, well-known lecturers and industry experts selected 1,572 excellent works from 8,055 valid works to enter the re-evaluation with their professional vision, and the preliminary shortlisting rate was about 20%. These works all reflect the innovative thinking and professionalism of the contestants, representing the highest standards in the field of art and design today.

• Second prize: 38 pieces (top 6‰).

• Third prize: 80 pieces (top 1.5%)

• Excellence Award: 187 (top 3.9%)

• Finalist Award: Several (about 20%)
