Asia Design Week and the European Product Design Award have officially joined forces to create a design extravaganza.

Recently, Asia Design Week and the European Product Design Award officially announced their collaboration and signed a memorandum of understanding, aiming to promote cross-regional design exchange and cooperation between Asia and Europe.

The European Product Design Award ( EPDA ) , foundedin1985byFarmaniGroup, is dedicated to promoting photography, design, and architecture globally. It was established to recognize the efforts of talented international product designers, aiming to raise awareness of international product and industrial design,improve our daily lives through practical and thoughtful creations, and recognize the strategic thinking and imagination that creates great products.EPDApromotes product design globally and provides outstanding designers in the industry with worldwide exposure.

Asia Design Week (ADW), with the Organizer being the Asia Design Week Organizing Committee, is an international design exhibition and event held annually at the end of the year, aiming to promote exchange and development in the field of art and design in Asia. One of ADW's annual programs, the Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award (AVADA), brings together outstanding works from Asia and around the world, showcasing a focus on the development of Asian culture and the creative industries.

This collaboration will encompass a wide range of aspects, including entry fee waivers, joint publications, media exposure, professional exchanges and training, jury exchanges, joint exhibitions, and market expansion. Both parties hope that this partnership will further enhance the international influence of the design industry and provide designers in the Asia-Europe region with a broader platform for showcasing their work and more opportunities for exchange.

Meanwhile, Mr. Laurent Devos, representing the European Product Design Award, highly recognized the Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award (AVADA) organized by Asia Design Week and will serve as a jury member of AVADA. He also invited Mr. Li Sheng, a representative of Asia Design Week, to serve on the jury of the European Product Design Award, with both parties expecting future mutual recognition across judging and award results.

Asia Design Week presented Mr. Laurent  Devos with a letter of appointment as a judge for the Asia Emerging Art and Design Competition.

The European Product Design Award presented Mr. Li Sheng with a letter of confirmation from the judges.

This collaboration marks a new milestone for both major design events, injecting new vitality and creativity into the global design community.
