Recently, Hebei International Industrial Design Week and Asia Design Week have reached a cooperation and officially signed a cooperation agreement. Introduction to Hebei International Industrial Design Week
Hebei International Industrial Design Week is hosted by the People's Government of Hebei Province, and co-organized by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province, the Administrative Committee of Xiong'an New Area, and Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center. It is a key international and professional exchange event built by Hebei Province to gather global design and innovation resources, serve the construction and development of Xiong'an New Area, and empower the transformation and upgrading of Hebei's manufacturing.
Hebei International Industrial Design Week has exhibited more than 17,000 outstanding domestic and international design works, attracted over 170,000 on-site visitors, and over 63 million online viewers for live streaming and exhibitions. Since 2019, it has been reported five times in a row on CCTV-1 Evening News and CCTV News Network, attracting high attention and warm responses from all sectors of society. The Design Week has become an influential industrial design exhibition in China, and an important platform and window for international design exchange and cooperation for Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province and China.
Introduction to Asia Design Week
Asia Design Week, or ADW, is an international design exhibition and event hosted by the Asia Design Week Organizing Committee, held once a year at the end of the year. It aims to promote exchanges and development in the field of art and design in Asia. The organizing committee is responsible for organizing and hosting Asia Design Week, art and design exhibitions, professional competitions and other activities.
In 2023, the Asian Vanguard Art and Design Exhibition (AVADE) held by Asia Design Week was exhibited at the ASEAN International Convention and Exhibition Center, showing attention to the development of Asian culture and creative industries. The exhibition included works from Asian countries and regions such as Chinese mainland, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Taiwan region, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Vietnam, as well as works from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Finland, Italy and other countries, making it a truly international event.
