The preliminary evaluation of the Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award (AVADA) is currently progressing in an orderly manner.

Due to the large number of submissions received this year, the Jury Committee is conducting the preliminary review in accordance with unified evaluation standards. As a result, the review progress varies among submissions, and the preliminary results will be released on a rolling basis.

Participants are kindly requested to log in to the competition submission system to check the status of their entries:

• If the status displays "Submit Final Round Materials", your work has successfully passed the preliminary review and advanced to the Final Round. Please submit your final-round materials and all required documents through the system within the specified deadline.

• If the status has not yet changed, your work is still under preliminary evaluation. Please be patient while the review is being completed. There is no need to resubmit your work or register again, as many entries are currently in this stage.

• Participants who registered via the online application form will receive their review results by email within approximately one week. Please pay attention to official emails sent from official@asia-design-week.com.

• If the status displays "Not Selected" or similar wording, unfortunately your submission has not passed the preliminary review. We sincerely appreciate your participation and support.

Eligible participants who have passed the preliminary review may begin submitting their Final Round materials immediately.

For participants who have not yet received a qualification notice or whose system status has not yet been updated, please remain patient. The Organizing Committee will continue completing the preliminary evaluation according to the review schedule and will update the system status on a rolling basis.

In addition, notification emails will be sent to participants in batches. Please regularly check the email address provided during registration (including your spam or junk folder) and follow the latest announcements published on the official website and official platforms.

Competition Schedule

Submission of Final Round Materials

15 July – 15 August 2026

Participants who have advanced to the Final Round must submit all required final evaluation materials through the competition system within the specified period. The final evaluation will be conducted by an international panel of experts, who will determine the winners in each award category.

Final Jury Evaluation

16 August – 25 August 2026

The International Jury Committee will complete the final evaluation and determine the recipients of all awards.

Announcement of Winners

1 September 2026

The official list of winners will be published on the Asia Design Week official website and official WeChat public account.

International Touring Exhibition of Outstanding Works

September 2026 – September 2027

Award-winning and selected outstanding works will be exhibited through the Asia Design Week International Touring Exhibition and other international exhibitions.

Certificates and Awards Distribution

Expected by the end of October 2026

Digital certificates will become available for online download, while trophies and awards will be distributed according to the competition schedule.

International Touring Exhibition Information

Touring Period

September 2026 – September 2027

Exhibition Scale

The international touring exhibition will cover more than 15 countries and regions, bringing together nearly 30 international universities, design institutions, design weeks, museums, galleries and cultural organizations across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

At present, the majority of participating institutions have completed preliminary schedule confirmations. Each exhibition stop will be jointly organized by local partner universities, design institutions and curatorial teams.

Government supporting organizations, curatorial teams, organizational structures and exhibition content for each venue will be officially announced following final confirmation by local partners. The list of touring venues and collaborative institutions will continue to expand.

The members of the International Touring Exhibition Committee and the Curatorial Team have already been officially announced on the Asia Design Week website. Each curator has also received an internationally recognized Joint Curatorial Certificate, featuring a unique serial number for public verification.

The AVADE Global Touring Exhibition Program remains open to new partners worldwide. Universities, museums, galleries, design institutions, design weeks and cultural organizations are warmly invited to join the international exhibition network.
