International Collaboration | 2026 International Ergonomics and Human Factors Design Competition (International Ergolympic 2026)

To promote the application and development of Ergonomics and Human Factors Design in fields such as product innovation, smart living, transportation systems, healthcare, and digital experience, the 2026 International Ergolympic Ergonomics and Human Factors Design Competition is now officially calling for outstanding entries from around the world.

The competition is organized by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Malaysia and Universiti RIS, with Malaysia Design Council and Universiti Putra Malaysia as collaborating organizations.

Under the theme “Designing a Human-Centered Future: Ergonomic Design for Products, Transportation, Workplaces, and Everyday Life”, this year’s competition encourages designers, researchers, students, enterprises, and innovation teams to apply scientific ergonomics and human factors methods to create safer, more efficient, more comfortable, more inclusive, and more sustainable lifestyles for the future.

II. Competition Groups

K1 Track | Secondary School / High School Group
Open to secondary school and high school students worldwide.
Prize range: RM300 – RM1,000

K2 Track | Foundation / TVET / Diploma / University Group
Open to students from higher education institutions, vocational education institutions, and young innovators.
Prize range: RM500 – RM3,000

K3 Track | Professionals / Enterprises / Startups Group
Open to professional designers, researchers, enterprises, and startup teams.
Prize range: RM1,000 – RM5,000

The total prize pool is up to RM20,000!
