Flourishing New Talents | AVADA Outstanding Works Exhibition Tour & HBUT Design Competition Exhibition Opens at HBUT

On October 16, 2025, the "AVADA Outstanding Works Exhibition Tour & Hubei University of Technology Design Discipline Outstanding Works Exhibition" grandly opened at the Exhibition Hall of the School of Art and Design, Hubei University of Technology. Jointly organized by Asia Design Week and the School of Art and Design, Hubei University of Technology, among others, this exhibition brought together emerging Asian design talent and the achievements of university design education, presenting a diverse, innovative, and integrated feast of contemporary art and design.

【Grand Opening Scene】

The opening ceremony gathered a distinguished group of guests, with representatives from academia and industry coming together to witness the launch of this vibrant youth creativity event.

Guests attending the opening ceremony included:
Cheng Jianxin: Specially Invited Vice President of the China Industrial Design Association; Founding Dean of the School of Art, Design and Media, East China University of Science and Technology.
Zhang Xiang: Professor at the Advertising School, Communication University of China; Vice President of the National Advertising Research Institute.
Rao Jian: Dean of the School of Art and Design, Hubei University of Technology; President of the Hubei Cultural and Creative Industry Association.
Qiu Zhitao: Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, School of Packaging Design and Art, Hunan University of Technology.
Li Sheng: Founder and Chairman of Asia Design Week.

The guests unanimously agreed that this exhibition is not only a concentrated display of youth art and design achievements but also an important platform for promoting Asian art and design education and cultural innovation cooperation, providing new opportunities for interaction between Chinese universities and international design institutions.

【Exhibition Highlights】

The exhibition presents all the award-winning works of this year's Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award (AVADA) , including the Grand Award, Gold Awards, Silver Awards, and Bronze Awards, spanning multiple fields such as Visual Communication Design, Product Design, Digital Art, and Environmental and Spatial Design.

At the same time, outstanding competition and coursework pieces from the design disciplines of Hubei University of Technology are also showcased in this exhibition, demonstrating the integration of university design education with social practice. It highlights the学院's forward-looking布局 and teaching strength in the combination of innovative design education with industry, academia, and research.
