Jury Results | The 2nd International Poster Exhibition of Asian Urban Culture & The "Belt and Road" China-ASEAN Digital Art Exhibition Results Announced!

After months of collection and review, the collection and review of the works of the 2nd International Poster Exhibition of Asian Urban Culture and the "Belt and Road" Digital Art Exhibition of China ASEAN Integration have been successfully completed. This competition brings together excellent design forces from Vietnam, Malaysia, Iran, Thailand, Russia, Chinese provinces,showing the profound thinking of contemporary designers on the integration and innovation of Asian culture.

With the support of the organizing committee of the Asia Design Week, the co-organized Malaysian Graphic Design Association, the Macao Poster Design Association and the Design Asia Collective, the professional teams of East University of Heilongjiang; School of Humanities (Dalian), Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts; Dalian Art College; and other institutions, and with the active participation of teachers, students and designers from all over the world, the competition has reaped encouraging results.

The competition starts from May 26th and ends on August 20th, with submissions divided into four themes: A. Urban culture and urban tourism culture of China & ASEAN Countries; B. Theme of China's "Belt and Road Initiative"; C. The 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand; D. Free theme. Li Sheng (Xing) and Miao Ping, Secretary General of the Organizing Committee , as the Review Supervisor, the evaluation work and tasks are completed fairly and justly through professional evaluation by the initial evaluation judges Hao Cong、Li Ping、Liu Rui、Ke Yihan、Teh Chin Boon, Alex and final evaluation judges Hong Ko、Lok Hong、Husaini Yaacob、Lin Yuchin、Li Zhongyang、Melisa Wong Meng San、Siek Hwee Ling, Perline、Wang Xiong、Xu Wei、Zhang Jianshe、Zhang Qi.

Total number of submissions received:

3190 submissions from both domestic and international sources.

2837 valid works. After initial evaluation, there are a total of 1362 theme works and 389 non theme works participating in the final evaluation of this competition.

Among 1362 themed works:

Including invited works: 241 pieces.

Outstanding (highest award) selected / exhibited: 31 selected/exhibited: 46 overseas highest award (exhibited): 12.

Student works: 595 pieces. Selected first prizes: 6 second prizes: 10 third prizes: 15 excellent prizes: 30 shortlisted prizes: 50.

Teacher's works: 142 pieces. Selected 6 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 14 excellent awards, and 16 shortlisted awards.

Professional and social works: 159 pieces. Selected first prizes: 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes, 6 excellent awards, 10 shortlisted awards.

Digital art dynamic works: 136 pieces. First prize: 3 for teacher group, 2 for student group. Second prize: 5 for teacher group, 3 for student group. Third prize: 7 for teacher group, 5 for student group. Excellence Award: 8 for teacher group and 6 for student group.

There are also works by overseas invited teachers, students, and designers, with a total of 89 selected/exhibited: 12.

Among 389 non themed works:

14 teacher group works won, 21 student group works won, 21 professional and social works won, 14 overseas group special awards won, 7 teacher and student group excellent awards won, and 23 awards won.
