Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award 2025 Final Review Notification
Dear Participants,
The preliminary review of the 2025 Asian Vanguard Art and Design Award (AVADA) has been successfully completed. The final review stage is about to begin. This year, we received a total of 4,390 submissions, with 4,060 valid entries from designers, educators, students, and art enthusiasts, including works recommended by overseas partner associations. In addition to a large number of submissions from China, this year’s competition also received enthusiastic participation from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Russia, and South Korea, highlighting its growing international influence. Furthermore, countries including Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, and Malaysia maintained high levels of engagement, with outstanding performance in both the quantity and quality of submissions. Notably, among all international entries, the proportion of professional submissions significantly exceeded that of student entries, indicating the competition's increasing recognition in the global design community and its ability to attract a rising number of experienced professional creators. The preliminary review was conducted by a professional jury composed of renowned lecturers, corporate designers, and industry experts from various countries, ensuring fairness, impartiality, and professionalism through their international perspective and extensive experience. In total, 1,352 works have advanced to the final review stage. These entries represent the forefront of today’s art and design standards and reflect the participants’ outstanding creativity and professionalism. Shortlisted entries will be notified between July 15 and 20, 2025. Please be patient during this period. The organizing committee will not provide shortlist inquiry services. Participants in mainland of China will be notified via both email or SMS. Overseas participants are requested to pay close attention to the email address provided during registration (including the spam folder) to avoid missing any notifications. To ensure your successful participation in the final review, exhibition, promotion, and publication stages, please carefully follow and complete the instructions below: To better facilitate the final review and prepare for publication, exhibition, and future promotion, participants must reconfirm all submission details, including author name, affiliation, and contact information. Once submitted, this information cannot be modified. You are also required to upload high-resolution images and videos of your work. Please complete the designated form again for this purpose. Video files are recommended to be appropriately compressed (preferably in MP4 format, under 200MB) to facilitate subsequent downloading, public display, and media usage.As for image materials, there is no strict size limitation, but please ensure consistent orientation and layout (e.g., using standardized A3/A4 dimensions with vertical layout) to maintain visual consistency and a clean exhibition presentation. A final review fee is required to ensure the professionalism, fairness, and promotion of the award. The payment method is the same as in the preliminary round. Final Review Fee Student Group: 180 CNY per entry (approx. 25 USD) Professional Group: Individual participants (teachers and independent art/design enthusiasts): CNY 220 per entry (approx. The final review will be conducted by an international jury panel. Results will be announced in September 2025.
