Results Announcement | ASEAN-China Design Convergence Competition Results Announced!

The evaluation work for the "ASEAN-China Design Convergence Competition", jointly organized by Design Asia Collective and Asia Design Week, has been successfully completed!

The competition's jury is composed of experts from various design fields in China and Malaysia, including renowned university professors, industry leaders, and judges of international design awards. They will conduct a professional evaluation of the entries based on dimensions such as innovation, cultural integration, and social impact.

• Authoritative Publication: The organizers will publish a selection of works and promote them across major media platforms (currently being edited and laid out; details to be announced).

• Global Exhibition Tour: The selected works will soon begin their exhibition tour. The organizing committee is actively contacting Exhibition Venues. We welcome interested institutions and organizations to host the exhibition tour (relevant responsible persons will be issued a Co-Curator Certificate).

This competition was jointly organized by Design Asia Collective and Asia Design Week, inviting designers and students from the ten ASEAN member states (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam), as well as China and other Asian countries, to participate.

From May 9th to 11th, 2025, the "ASEAN-China Design Convergence Summit" was successfully held at Sunway College in Malaysia. It received strong support from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), Malaysia, and was co-organized by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia, the Malaysia Design Council (MRM), the Malaysian Graphic Design Association (mREGA) , and Sunway College.

Whether you are a winner or not, your creativity and passion are invaluable assets for the development of Asian design.
